moral of the story. the 1.5L crossover is an overweight raised hatchback, so just cut the cr*p and get the hatchback
Not all buyers are similarly situated thus imho you can't just generalize that the HB is better than a crossover.

Some parts of the country still have **** of a road to ply on.

the ecosport i have is m/t so it's actually OK in reliability but in hindsight i really should've gotten the jazz instead
Good to know. I was also considering the Ecosport before.

brio made it up just fine. skip to 9:00

but i do agree that crossovers do have certain advantages like if you're trying to load something tall and boxy

also some parking slots are very steep, may scrape the bumper of a sedan or HB

This is what I mean, the car in front of us scraped her front fender and maybe exhaust system, the Ecosport where I am riding shotgun never had a problem.

Daming patch job lang na daanan, the sidewalk and the main street have different levels sometimes. Affidavit of own damage from sedans are rampant.

Wow hirap na hirap the DNGA based Toyotas. I think it's fair to say they had the hardest time out of all the cars in that video.

Noticed that, too. The Brio on the other hand is like that train - The Little Engine That Could!

Seems like the DNGA avanzas are too low/scraping to maintain their momentum (power shoudn't be an issue if a 1.0 avanza made it through). Does the Expander have brakebased limited slip? it seems to be the most composed among the FWD MPVs.

Kicks has better acceleration and mileage due to the bigger battery.

Everything else goes to the Cross G.
