A foot mounted handbrake is something you can get used to and not a dealbreaker unless youre injured on the left leg or something

    in my opinion,
    just like AT versus MT,
manual parking brake versus powered handbrake, is a personal choice.

Sadly like the MT vs AT issue, it seems that MT and the manual parking brake are at the losing end. They are going obsolete.

when i gave my MT car keys for my niece to drive us home and practice her new driving skills,
she sheepishly answered, "ninong, i can't drive MT..."

    i exploded inside.
"what! do you not know that your father and i, are two of the staunchest hold-overs of MT in the country!!"

    heh heh heh.

my Kia Carnival has this feature. You'll get used to it over time. Mataas naman sya kesa sa footrest o brake pedal.
