I would just buy a donut spare tire and live with the reduced trunk space

Apparently it comes with a tire sealant, has anyone tried using this?

a carpenter can fashion a wooden table with 2 x 2 (dos por dos) wooden feet, to ride over and cover the spare tyre.
puedeng patungan so's not embarrass too much, the luggage capacity.

Maybe that generation of kicks was originally non-hybrid that's why they just retrofitted everything. They should've placed that starter battery and tools under the front passenger seat like the Jeep Cherokee?

Pero ok lang pala sa trunk yung spare tyre, lagyan nalang ng tali to fix in place para hindi lumusot sa tonneau cover or ma eject.

or you can put a fabric or plastic cover over the spare tire in the trunk like the current Lexus IS Hybrids

But the point of a Kicks is as an only car whereas that isnt the case for a typical Lexus IS owner

mukhang walang malakas na puedeng pagtalian...
we might have to do some "heavier retrofitting", i.e., butasan thru the metal floor underneath the spare tyre.

    or,
we can move the battery out, installing it nearby,
and letting the tyre into its traditional space.
i am assuming, whatever fumes the battery might emit, is minimal...?

i like that battery relocation idea. but then again why bother? when was the last time that you had to use the spare tire? i don't even remember

btw you could also install a hitch then just bolt on the donut when going out of town. you don't really need to carry it just doing your daily driving within civilization. but do carry a tire plug kit as well

as for nissan kicks, personally i'd rather buy a BYD dolphin

    to me,
    spare tyre is like insurance.
you spend good money to have it, then pray that you never have the instance to use it.
