December 29th, 2010 11:52 AM #101yap, i agree on notarized deed of sale na meron mura but w/ regards to change of ownership after the expiration of the registration w/c is 3 years mahirap yata lumaban dun ang buyer simply becoz from the time you bought the unit until after 3 years nasa name pa din ng seller - what if something happen between the 3 year span nasa liability pa din ng seller ang unit at ang buyer deed of sale lang ang hawak pero sa LTO data wala kahit ano record na buyer na ang may-ari...its the buyer's risk anyway

Sa buyer po yun and not your problem. Basta you have your notorized copy of deed of sale and copy of buyers id you are fine.
Ang sinasabi lang ng post above ay, he thinks mahihirapan ang buyer to register the car after the first three years are over. But in reality, hindi naman, as long as the o.r., c.r., and deed of sale are with him. And one thing, for the new owner, he doesnt have to pay a new three years, he will just pay the change of ownership fee.
