Diesel is quite popular in Europe unlike the US. Most global manufacturers have a diesel option for their model lineup in Europe. Honda and Subaru have long offered diesel engines for some of their best-selling models sold in Europe.

Nagbanggit pa kayo very very few countries with top notch emission.

Simplehan natin why diesel is so backward.....

Though im not advising na paabutin nyo 15,000kms dito philippines road/traffic condition.... Im just pointing out na you can be careless paminsan-minsan sa maintenance sa gas engine...

So the better buy is gaso.... Not so frequent oil change......

Volkswagen follows a 15k KM or 12-month PMS cycle for its gasoline and diesel engines. Audi also follows the same cycle as they use the same engines/platform as Volkswagen. The same thing applies with other Euro diesel cars. Baka mapahiya yang gas-engined car mo kapag tinabi sa mga Euro diesel cars in terms of refinement and noise reduction.

Haaaaaaay.....hindi nyo talaga magets what im trying to point out at nagpasok pa kayo ng european...

American emission regulation is more stricter than european... 0.07 gram limit. Sa europe is 0.29

Lagi nyo iisipin - diesel doesn't evaporate like gasoline, the pumps are dirtier--no matter how clean those diesel engines are.

At remember nung pumasok volkswagen dito pinas......

Boom Boom Boom !!!!

Politika kaya dumami diesel sa europe..... Lobbied by bmw and mandurugas volkswagen....

The health concious in me = Diesels produce 15% less CO2 than petrol, but emit four times more nitrogen dioxide pollution (NO2) and 22 times more particulates - the tiny particles that penetrate the lungs, brain and heart.

So napaklalinaw na backward ang diesel..... Tapos pag pinoy ang nagdadrive lalo naging paurong... Iblank ba naman EGR.... Barriotic !!!!
