May sinusulong na breakthrough new fuel ang toyota ngayon which is the hydrogen fuel cell.
Kaya kayang pantayan nito yung EV?
Parang Fuel Cell vs EV, kung sino sa dalawa maging mainstream dito sa pinas.

Yung big risk ng EV dito sa atin is yung climate, delikado mag cause ng fire if lagi naka tambay outside yung EV car.

Panahon pa ng flux capacitor pinag uusapan ang hydrogen fuel cell, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin

There are rumors that GD engines will get hybrid treatment. Same for the upcoming LC Prado



Look at this proposed engine lineup for LC250 Prado. The almost 20+ year old 1GR V6 engine is in the history books, but the 20 year old 2TR-FE 4 cylinder gas engine is still being offered. Oh and the L4T engine is really brand new engine straight from the all new Tacoma pickup, it has hybrid system as well.

I've read that the 2024 Hilux with a 48V mild hybrid system with a 2.8L diesel engine. Why mild hybrid? It's because the Hilux is rated for towing. EVs and full hybrids are notoriously inefficient when it comes to towing.
