4 seaters, I think most cars can seat 4 comfortably naman. even the wigo can do this. but the problem with these hatches is that they don't have space for the luggage in case I want to go to acuatico in batangas for 3 nights. Damn they're sold out

checking Honda, Toyota, and Chev USA where the survey was made, it looks like starter cars are the typical sedans / hatch.

DPF replacement (as in the whole metal assembly is in the tune of 100k-150k ($15k) as much as diesel turbo replacement ), i can live with that, if and when it happens. i always floor my diesels whenever I have a chance on the road.

Ive already dismantled a Starex GRX Turbo and sent it Central Diesel. I already cleaned by Santa Fe EGR as well as my intercooler tubes. I can safely say that I know the diesel setup in the engine bay, ngaun may DPF, itÂ’s just dedicated focus attention , sooner or later it will be fixed or will present a solution. i came from a problematic V6 explorer that I dismantled haggang fuel injecors. Experiencing that for like 3 months back and forth , sa web, sa banawe, di na ako natatakot gano.

You see itÂ’s easy when you are just dealing with one type of engine or technology , unlike if you have gasoline and diesel or sedan and suv. Mas nakakalito pa Yun

Ngsun lets discuss the electric fans in your gasoline suvs or cars. ItÂ’s a silent killer. Not all fans even if it is OeM , operate the same with the kind of congestion, humidity and elements that we have here. Cooling is a very important aspect in cars whether engine cooling or cabin cooling.

So pano na trav, how will you know kung hinde na optimum RPM ang fans ng engines nyo, unlike in diesel PPVS, constant consisten yun because it is mechanical not electrical

Gasoline just takes up more energy to operate in terms of aircon ( kasi ibsng klase talaga init dito satin) and torque (kasi bibilis ka lang ng onti, wala preno na naman coz of pedestrian, motrocycle or even a dog crossing )

pero hinde naman totally dead ah, i think the vios, the mirage sedan and the accent diesel will continue to be best sellers
Most of the full size suvs and the like of cuvs in middle east are gas powered... maybe it’s not the energy but the price of gasoline sold in our country makes it harder to sell...

Sa US, mas mura gas kaysa diesel. Mas mura pa gas doon kaysa dito sa atin.

I suspect though that sedans will still sell well in our country, mainly for the price point. If that's all the budget one has, it doesn't really make financial sense to buy an SUV.
Agree. Most will opt to buy a CUV/SUV if they can afford it. They are just a lot more practical and versatile for the family guy. For single people or couples who don't plan to have kids sedans make a lot more sense.

Bro, we all know that comfort and driving dynamics of CUVs can't be matched by PPVs. But for the people who can only own one car those take a back seat to versatility and utility. That's why PPVs are selling so well. If the car companies could produce similarly sized CUVs that gave the same cargo/passenger capacity, fuel consumption and price and if our road quality improves dramatically I imagine PPV sales will decline naturally in favor of CUVs.

Survey was done in the US, where we know that lane, intersection and traffic disciplines are generally observed.

Bros- it would be interesting to see the results if there was a similar survey here in the Philippines.

Again,- preference and not limited by budget, if I understand correctly.
