What is your Car Sound Setup? (Merged Threads)

... pasali din po...pero yun sakin, di pa nakakabit.

Actually, at my age, I never thought ise-setup ko pa yun kotse ko. But after reading all the threads here, di ko napigilan...kasalanan nyo ito, hehehehehe....patay tayo kay misis.

Here are the items I already purchased (not yet installed). Appreciate your feedback if I am on the right track (newbie lang ako). And hopefully, these will, at least, sound decent...here goes:

1) Lightning Audio S4.600 Amp
- front channels: 60W x 2 OR 180W x 1 (at 4 ohms)
- rear channels: 150W x 2 OR 500W x 1 (at 4 ohms)
- optional FAN

2) CDT Audio CL-61 separates (...thanks to "luckytruck ANDY" for the tip)
- 6.5" 2 way components
- Mid: Stamped 6.5"
- Crossover: "Phase Perfect" Elliptic 4th order 2-Way SatNat-456
- Tweeter: TW-20 silk soft dome
- Power Handling: 90 watt RMS
- Frequency Response: 60-20kHz

- Surface & Flush mount tweeter

3) CDT Audio Image Enhancement Kit
- 2 High powered "image enhancement" neodymium tweeters
- Cooled by ferrofluid
- Neodymium magnet

5) SCK4 Lightning Audio Amp Kit
- 4AWG crystal blue power wire (20Ft)
- 4AWG striking silver ground wire (3Ft)
- FHAGU1 AGU Fuseholder with 40 amp fuse
- Remote turn on lead

MY PREFERENCE/S:
- subs to be detachable para when I need space pwede tanggalin
- amp to be placed under the seat. As much as possible, ayoko may nakikita...mas nakatago, mas ok...
- as much as possible, wag sana butasin yun siding ng kotse (Paj 2 ho pala)
- SQ

QUESTION/s:
- Tama ba pinag-bibibili ko?
- What kind of enclosure do I need for the subs???
- Kickpanels ba dapat?
- Sinong installer mura lang sumingil pero magaling recommended nyo?...hehehe, kuripot ba?
- Anything else I need to purchase or dagdag?
- last but not the least....may pag-asa ba tumunog ng maganda ito?

Sa Optra namin stock pa lang Blaupunkt stereo with 5 CD in Dash
4 speakers with 2 tweeters.....Maganda na ang sound niya kaso mas gusto ko masmataas na watts pa..hehehe

Project ko palitan lang sila ng mas mataas pa na Watts at tweeters na rin..Kaso after 3 years pa or 35,000kms pa..

Incomplete dn po tong set-up ko..
2 amp... d ko maalala ung brand nung isa... pero the other is JBL..
1 pair of targa tweeters
1 pair of targa separates... ung pang front pa lang po ang meron...
1 pair of Kicker Solo Barric subs
1 MTX crossover
and Kendwood na HU.. ung stock ng CR-V 2003 4X2..

96 honda vtec..

head unit; pioneer..DEHP960 CD/MP3

(front.).......honda stockfront +pioneer dome tweeter paralelled of course with pioneer high freq.div.network.. medyo kulang kasi sa high yung stock ng honda ..

(rear).........pioneer TSA6990R 6X9' full range -
rubber sound./.

Im totally satisfied with the sound
bass is great no need to upgrade for extra power amp and bass speaker ..

Hi G-Shock,

Napakabit ko na... Sa Mickey's ko dinala. Buti na lang bait ni Mickey, kahit hindi ko sa kanya binili yun mga gamit ko, ok lang ikabit nila... So far, happy ako. Though, I cant say if its good or not kasi wala akong pag-compare-han...

AS for presyo... di masyado mahal kasi sa US ko lahat binili. Yun iba sa ebay...
