audio set-up for beginners [continued]

Boss Tsikot Installer...sir meron po akong bagong Head Unit, Subwoofer, seps, power amp and cable set, to replace my stock sound system for my crosswind. If kung sa inyo ko po ito ipapa-install ano ano pa po ba ang kakailanganin ko to complete the setup, i will also need your advise para sa enclosure at yung positioning nya sa sasakyan. How much roughly would it cost for the installation itself?

Sir just wondering about the subsonic filter, honestly i never heard that device, and i didn`t install that filter on my sub, you mean Sir jhnkvn that my sub would not be fine if i didn`t install that subsonic filter?

Sir how about the volume of the amplifier, its just up to me to level the volume of the amplifier? when i turn it into max level what would be the possible happen to my amplifier or sub? or much better to turn it to mid volume level?

Sorry for my question I`m just a newbie in this kind of field. Thanks for the kind and Time.

around 10k yung morel seps amd coax combo, 4channel amp and wires ok na po.

paki post po nung exact unit nyo sir, saka lang po ako mag sa suggest kung anu ang kulang, i will explain it clearly pag na post nyo na..
Ganito po, anung head unit po ba yan, anung sub, anung size nung sub, dual 4 ohms ba yan, ilang watts, anung seps, ilang watts din, anung amp po ba yan, 4 channel po ba, anung wiring na po ang meron kayo,? paki post po lahat ng information, salamat..

Subsonic filter is a crossover, that limits extreme low bass going to your subwoofers. if you are running sealed set it as low as possible if you are running ported set it 5-10hz bellow your tuning of your sub. Wala po atang seetings na ganun ang amp nyo sir, since i think it is a 4 channel amp, Low pass filter po ang kelangan nyo e set dito, subsonic filter is not that necessary then.
I need more detail about your system sir, to answer these precisely, ano po ang head unit nyo, do the amp drives a seps or a front speakers, or just the subs? You just said you have these things,

meron nga po ako sir niyan bali nakakabit na lahat, stock palang po yung HU ko which is Pioneer(hindi ko matandaan yung model nasa pagawaan kasi yung sasakyan ko) and the other speakers, wala pa po akong seps and others, bali yan palang yung nabuo ko, may massugest po ba kau sakin sa pag tono? didipende pa din po ba yan sa HU ko? wala pa pong ibang dinadrive yung amp kundi yung tig isang sub, hindi ko kinokonekta yung mga stock na speakers sa amp dahil baka masunog at masira. Naka ported box po ako sir. Thanks po.

A, yung isang sub po ba, ang nag da-drive is yung amp na red or blue, or, yung isang amp, sa dalawang sub, naka bridge po ba? Madali lang po i tono yan, just figure out how you do the wiring from amp to sub, if yung isang amp lang na red ang ginamit mo, say yung isang sub, nakabridge yun sa 1&2 channel, and the other sub is bridge on the next 3&4 channel, from head unit low output, sabihin natin na meron syang output para sa subwoofer signal, you use a pair of Y rca to connect it to your 4 channel amp, then, as first, check the gain of your amp, set the filter to low pass, all gain, frequency, or bass boost levels must be zero, play test CD to your head unit, set the volume level of your head unit to 2/3 of the total volume, if you hear a distortion in your speakers in front, turn it down slowly until the distortion is not heard, then go to your amp, for the gain on the first 2 channel, turn it up slowly until you hear a distortion on first sub, turn down a bit, to normalize its movement, if you want hard bass, turn your frequency knob as high as you like it, if you hear distortion, turn it down, then bass boost, normally, you dont need it if its loud enough, and if not, set these to 12db. Same thing you do to the next sub..

sir pumunta ako dun sa talyer kung nasan yung sasakyan para maitgnan yung HU ko ito po Pioneer KD-G162 yan po yung model po. ok lang po ba yan?

ok sir susubukan ko po yang suggestion niyo po sa pagtono.

bali sir ang connection na ginawa ko dyan, red amp to 1 sub connected to ch3&4 blue amp to 1 sub connected also to ch3&4 nakabridge po siya parehas, so i set the both amplifier to low, ang balak ko kasi yung channel 1&2 of both amplifier sa front and rear. ok lang po ba yung ginawa kong connection? or malaking mali? hehe.

*sir tanong ko na din po medyo naguguluhan lang po kasi ako dun sa dalawa kong amp, yung isa nakalagay, "MOSFET WAY X-OVER" at yung isa po "MOSFET 3 WAY X-OVER" ano po yung pagkakaiba nung dalawa?

Mas maganda siguro dito is yung isang amp, gamitin mo sa subs mo, and the other one to your seps or coax, in this way po, mas maganda ang magiging set up nyo, and i think, magkaiba din ng power ratings ang dalawang amp nyo, so hindi po parehas yung work nung dalawa since their having a different power supply, on the other hand, power efficient pa kung gagamitin mo is yung isang amp sa dalawang subs, because its pushing only low pass filter not a low and high pass option, maiinit sa amp ang ganitong set up ng amplfier, driving two different filters, and not guaranty a good and long last install.
Consider a two same bulbs in a car, say it is head light, kung mapapansin nyo, mas mabilis mapundi minsan yung malapit sa battery, it is because it is nearest to the extreme point of current, where the current passes there is not stable, we can say that these two bulbs has a different current supply., Ganun din po yung pwede mangyari sa subwoofer nyo, yung isa gumagana pa, yung isa, sira na. Consider nyo rin po yung type ng install, kung yung isang amp sa dalawang sub, madali lang magtono.
Iisa lang po ibig sabihin nung MOSFET WAY X-OVER or MOSFET 3WAY X-OVER, low pass, high pass or off.
