I am curious how it would fit for in-car use, is it worth using it? Would there be any improvement in SQ compared with the Pioneer 5750?

What are the ways to connect it? I am seeing few people connecting it to their DSPs. I already sold my DSP so its far from my options now.

If I connect it via aux or Bluetooth, can it go somewhere near CD quality as well?

The DAP has Aptx which they say maintains audio quality though I know wired is always better – looking lang to make most out of the device with Spotify.

The usability of the DAP for me is beyond question na and I just want for that little ‘push’ to proceed with the purchase if sulit-na-sulit if it would go well with car audio.

Looking to hear your insights bros. Salamat
When you're talking about "CD quality", it'll depend on how technical you're looking at. Personally, I'd say yes to both.

You see, you can look at the problem at either source-level (aka, do you have a 16bit/48khz loseless format) or via a chain-level which I think you're asking about. For the chain, Bluetooth will always have the disadvantage in quality but in turn it offers convenience. AUX will be better (FYI, I use AUX on my iPhone to carry my audio signal) in this case. Purists would claim there's too much conversions (digital to analog and vice versa) but don't mind them

Good eve!
Pinagpipilian ko is DLS Reference or FOCAL PS 165v
Or may amp pa ba kayo na ma suggest?
DD Redline 508 or Polk MM840?
Btw, alternative rock madalas kong pakinggan like Audioslave, RHCP, etc.
Thanks!

Narining ko na yung DLS reference and I personally used to own the PS 165v. Over the two, I would recommend (with a bit of bias) the Focal. For me, mas type ko yung kapal ng mid-bass ng Focal compared to the reference but make sure to have it tuned properly. The 165v is very lively and if not tuned properly, the highs could be fatiguing in long listening sessions.

Decent choice of amps you got there, up to you really which one you would prefer.

For the subs, since you plan to have these on a pick up - the MM840 with its shallow mounting depth puts it in an advantage. for deadening, both STPs work the same and I doubt any noticeable difference in SQ.

You might also want to consult a competent installer and get his opinion... Goodluck!

Thanks for the reply sir phil15! Ill go for Gladen M-Line 75.4, PolkMM840, at STP Black na.

    1. Your speaker choice will fall to preferences. And you'll only know your preference once you've heard a lot of speakers as you'll eventually gravitate towards a certain "sound signature". Each person's taste are different and this is what makes audio a very subjective field of study.
    2. For the amplifier alternative, you should also take a look at the Helix amps. They've been in the amplifier business for a long time but it just recently (like last year) that they decided to "go down" the price ladder. While they aren't that well known, they hail from Germany and counts Brax as their high-end line. And Brax has always been the envy for people in the industry -- they've always been the creme of the crop.
    3. If it's a pickup, pick a shallow mount subwoofer. Pick your subwoofer depending on your space. It's not the other way around as most newbies mistake it to be.
    4. Purchasing a subwoofer is: Knowing how much space you can spare -> know what box you can fit there -> choose your subwoofer driver
    5. The wonders of SQ is that you'll play all genres well once you've tuned your system well. People don't buy Php1M speakers (in home audio) so to play Eagles. They purchase it so they can throw any song they want at it and it'll sound good.
    6. No difference: get the one that's cheaper (on the deadening)

Just heard the DLS reference nung isang araw. And for the sub, pioneer premiere shallow sub 8" nalang talaga walang ibang kakasya haha.

Hahaha

May inputs na mga guru's natin [emoji1369][emoji1369] hindi kana magkakamali nyan hehe. Dagdag ko lang, if your planning to use 75.4 amp at bridge connection ang ch 3 and 4 para sa MM840 baka lang kapusin i think its better to use atleast 100.4 para may 200rms at 4ohms ang sub or add another mono amp na 350rms para maganda ang bigay ng subwoofer.
