i guess i learned water alone is not a good idea by observation. i used to have a neighbor who just wipes his car rags soaked in water. i got a chance to view his car on a sunny afternoon and saw all the swirls and scratches all over the paint. fortunately it was a darker silver car and the imperfections are not that obvious.
i only did mine with water and acrylic since the paint was not that dirty, just barely noticeable rain marks (though last wash around december), otherwise i would do a full wash with car shampoo.
yup. naputukan ako ng gulong. timing din kasi nagiisip na ako ng magupdate. salamat sa timing at dun sa na meet ko sa drag racing, naka 50% off ako ng 20s, tapos hankooks.

February 21st, 2007 07:45 AM #244first time it hit 50's and sunny so i left work early to apply a quick detailing wax on my truck.using megs NXT during winter cause it seems to hold longer with frequent wash during winter time.i normally switch to carnuba wax during spring/summer
i just ran my truck to a car wash and used quick detailing spray and the NXT seems to hold pretty good even after a few snow, salt, grime and car wash.
