nag search din ako pero lahat ng nababasa ko pabor sa isang item eh.. sa protection fleetwax daw talaga matibay sa looks 915. pero gusto ko madinig galing sa experts talaga dito sa pinas kung ano talaga ehehe

eto talaga tanong ko.. need ko kasi yung looks ng 915 so 915 buy ko pero ask ko kung matutuwa din ba ako sa beading effect at protection nito in 2 weeks?? or 3.. hindi ko na cinonsider yung long lasting durability ng fleetwax kasi mag wawax din naman ako every 2weeks eh..

Nik, putting any collinite/wax alone will not guarantee you a longer protection and shine. You can top it with spray wax (FX, Megs Quick wax, OCW, Reflections etc) to protect your collinite/wax.

kung papatungan ko po ng isa pang layer yung collinite pano po mag bebead yung water kung na takpan na si collinite??

after collinite nano sliq po meron ako dito tapos plan ko bumili ng megs UQD para sa beading effect din at looks..

since gusto ninyo looks and not the durability between the 3.....then go for 915...(newbie po ako ).... but again its rainy season....i'll go for durability....when summer comes....915 na ko.....but thats me..... enjoy waxing!!!!

sir ask ko lang hindi ba ganun nakaka protect si 915? totally looks lang ba sya at konti lang ang protect? 2 to 3 weeks hindi tatagal beading effect ni 915? thanks..

Wax purpose is to protect and maintain the shine of our car. So any wax on top of other wax/sealant will also give you protection and beading.
Don't forget its not only the beading effect that we want, also protection from UV rays and other contaminants.

To sum it up spray wax on top of wax will be your sacrificial layer.

hindi po ba enough yung nanoSliQ?? alam ko po kasi additional layer sya eh..

this is my plan.. after step 1 and 2.. i'll use 3m IHG (may mas maganda pa ba dito na makaka dark sa paint?) tapos collinite.. after 1 day dagdag ulit collinite.. then megs UQD or nano Sliq.. or need ko pa patungan talaga ng spray wax yung collinte? ano po ma susugest nyo?

summary ng gagawin ko 3 layers(isang 3m IHG tapos dalawang collinte) + QD like nanosliq kung dadagdagan ko spray wax magiging 4 layers na..

thanks po.. tetext ko ngayon BF nyo i mean mo para ask ko price. sa protection ok din ba ho ang 915 like 476? sa durability ok lang po na 1month lang itatagal ng 915, balak ko kasi weekly mag lagay or every other week.

question: 915 and 885(fleetwax) difference sama ko na din yung insulator wax 815 ata yun.

as for protection lets put it this way, in the US 476 can last a year and 915 10 months, now since the weather in our oh so clean country is so nice 476 just lasts about a month in our extremely erratic scorching sun and drizzles climate so if you compound it down to how much difference 476 has over 915, it just boils down to 1 to 2 weeks tops difference in protection

and as for durability honestly 915 doesn't really lose as much to 476, the difference is quite small and if you're planning on waxing every other week then 915 can already do the trick, if you're planning on waxing every 3 weeks and you also wash it weekly then 915 can still survive 3 weeks

okay just to put it simpler

915 = really good looks and in the rainy season 3 weeks tops durability

476 = not so bad in terms of looks but still better than some OTC and durability is 4 weeks tops

fleet = slightly better than 476 looks but lasts about the same as 476 if not even a week longer

insulator wax = same look as 476 but about 2 weeks tops

so if you're waxing every other week or every 3 weeks and want the added gloss then 915 would be the best choice for you

actually fleet wax isn't really used that much on cars to be honest, its made for boats and aircrafts and its been voted wax of the year for boats 3x in a row by a magazine so its that good. and i've personally talked to the president and CEO of collinite and they said that fleet wax could also be used on cars and it does last a little longer than 476 and thats the only reason why we tried using fleetwax on cars and of course 915 wins for looks thats why its a show wax

like someone has said before, in terms of beading 915, fleet and 476 all beads the same, if there would be any difference it would be very hard to tell since they all do a great job at it, the only difference now lies on how long the beading last so for that pls refer to my previous post

and what if the layer you are putting on also beads water?

actually if you compare UQD with nanosliq, there are actually times when nanosliq even beads better and lasts longer then UQD

915 can protect the paint nearly as good as 476, like i've said it all boils down to how long the protection lasts, so YES it can protect the paint! all collinite waxes are good in terms of this which is protecting the paint

what do you mean about the 2 to 3 weeks? when i stated the durability in weeks thats its durability in terms of our harshest weather in manila so if you use wax boosters like nanosliq and spray waxes it should last longer

thanks madkatz !! buti hindi pa ako bumili ng UQD.. nanoSliQ gamit ko nayon nakapatong sa EO.. hindi ko pa sya wash last thu pa.. tom ko sya wash para sakto 1week tingnan ko kung mag bead pa or makinis pa.. pag EO lang kasi mejo bawas na gloss at smooth after a week.. tingnan ko tom nanoSLIQ.. first time ko kasi ginamit hehe

salamat mam madkatz naliwanagan na ako from cleaners and polish to glaze to wax hehe salamat.. nacompare ko na din ang collinite nakuha ko na sagot..

question: about glaze naman sino pinaka magandang glaze? si 3m IHG na talaga? compare kay megs #7 ?

question: best QD? pang bead and super shine hehe.. sa dust hindi ko muna consider kasi tagulan pa naman eh.. OGE ata para sa dust tama ba?
