July 6th, 2010 03:16 PM #5441Waterless Wash:
- Dust the car
- Spray the waterless wash on one panel..be liberal with the spray, esp if the car is really dirty.
- Use one MF to remove dirt
- Use another to dry
No Rinse
- Dilute a small amt of ONR to a bucket of water (1:256 as per madkatz)
- Dip your washmit in the solution, and wipe the car with it
- Use wipe with one MF to remove dirt
- Wipe with another to dry
Difference.... ung no rinse may bucket of water ka... sa waterless, pa-spray-spray lang. I also read in some threads another no rinse technique using 2 buckets...
- Fill one bucket with distilled water
- Dilute a small amt of ONR to another bucket of distilled water
- Dip your washmit in the ONR solution and wipe the car with it
- Use wipe with one MF to remove dirt
- Wipe with another to dry
- Dip the washmit in water to let lose the dirt, remove excess water, and repeat the last 3 steps.
Mga pafs... feel free to crrect po...
and alos? which method do you prefer more? No rinse or waterless?

July 6th, 2010 06:44 PM #5443Hmmm i would recommend he remove the whole thing again using Glass Scrub and then apply Rain Clear again, the streaking should be easy to remove i dunno why it streaked in his case, usually i just use my bare hands to spread the rain clear and very little is needed like only 3 to 4 green pea sizes for the whole wind shield, you just really have to massage it to spread it very thin and then i remove it with a MF cloth or newspaper

July 6th, 2010 06:48 PM #5444Rinseless is when you use 2 gallons of water with 1 oz of no rinse and wash your car, and you dip your washmitt on the solution and wring the washmitt again in the solution, the waterless wash is when you use it like a QD but instead of misting the surface you liberally cover the whole panel and you use a MF cloth to wipe the dirt off and another to dry it after, once you wipe one panel with a MF cloth you don't use that side again, so you end up using 4 MF cloths for the whole car, 3 for wiping and removing dirt and 1 for drying.
So yes its pretty much like what Rico said but for the waterless wash you really soak it and let it sit for about a minute.

July 6th, 2010 10:59 PM #5448Yup, same here, i am awestruck, and to think that you just recently learned polishing about a month ago, really good job!
BTW you have to give that pad another spin, try some degreaser, your pad might become stiff if its not thoroughly cleanedLast edited by madkatz; July 6th, 2010 at 11:05 PM.
