^^ Especially if you don't have enough space on your garage to put your Ferrari, oh I mean, Ferrari replica on.
Yes it can be a chick magnet. But at the same time, it can also be a theif magnet. :bwahaha:
Oh and about the ferrari pic. It seems that the guy forgot to clip the paddle shifters on.
He sells it for 28500EU or about 1.938php.pretty cheap for a 430.

The kit is manufactured by DNA Automotive. Their website has pricing for the different options. As I've said, the kit is in UK so you will have to pay separately for the shipping of the panels and accessories. You will then of course have to build the car and spend on materials and labor (if you do not build it yourself).
For choices on other kit cars and manufacturers, click this link.

January 3rd, 2010 04:08 AM #114if not available locally then it would cost more than what's expected...and i don't know anybody locally that can build this replica that will look exactly in the picture, imo i dont want to spend and be disappointed of the outcome in the end

Building kit cars is a hobby and a passion....and it's not cheap. Majority of Kit Car enthusiasts derive pleasure from building their own cars (like the guy who built the F430). They also spend a lot to make their cars look OEM as much as possible. Turnkeys are available for those who don't have time...but then again, shipping a fully built car from the UK to the Philippines is another problem.
Of course the cost will be more since you have to factor in shipping (not sure how much). And expect to spend more during the actual build. If you don't want to spend as much, don't have the time or the skill and are worried about the risk, then Kit Cars may not be for you. You'll be better off just buying a high end car locally.
I once met a builder who specializes on classic Ferraris. His shop was near E. Rodriguez Ave. He was at that time building a Testarossa 250 and was offering to build me a Ferrari 355. He also had the mold for a Ferrari Enzo in his shop.

if you are only passionate about driving and not building, kit cars are not for you
most people just wanna pay the money, get in the car and drive
few people have the passion to actually WORK on a car
change oil palang ayaw mag-DIY, dadalhin pa sa casa or gas station
either hindi marunong o tamad
pag maselan ka, kit cars are not for you
sigurado you will hate the squeaks and vibrations of kit cars
if your standards are very high (you can even find faults in corollas and civics), kit cars are not for you

To get an idea on how this kit is built, check out the videos below:

I encourage you to do more research to better understand the intricacies of kit cars. Daming kailangan malaman at maintindihan. It's not like buying a car from the dealer where you just "turn the key" and off you go. As I've said, passion talaga kailangan.
Good luck

now how many people here are that passionate?
paglinis palang ng sasakyan dadalhin pa sa car wash
most people here would rather pay other people to work on their cars
ayaw madumihan ang kamay
all they wanna do is get in the car and drive
kit cars would only make it here if a company would import the kits, build the cars in-house, then sell the completely built cars, and offer warranty and after sales service
pinoys are spoiled
