Uncool A/C

If bago naman ang a/c refrigerant mo and wala namang problem ang aux fan mo then yung a/c mo itself (condenser ba yon?) could be the culprit.

If ok naman siya, it's either your engine bay is way too hot or your passenger compartment is taking in too much heat from outside (no tints?). In both cases, your a/c cannot move heat out efficiently enough.

i think both nga kasi mainit na engine bay ko and la nga me tint, how do i remove the heat sa engine bay?

d ba matakaw sa kuryente yan? baka madrain yung battery? might not have any more space for extra fan.....dami ko kc kinabit na stebel sa pajero ko.

In my case naman, malamig naman when the aircon is on, but when I switch on the 2nd aircon (yung dual), parang humihina ang lamig. What's the problem kaya?

Also, when I'm running, parang masmalaming compared to when I'm idling. Is this another problem?

Kapag umaandar, may wind na nag-coo-cool down ng radiator mo ... check mo nalang if yung fans mo ok pa. Maybe you might want to add some coolant na din.

Paano position nya? Kasi for most cars na alam ko, parang covered na ng main at aux yung buong surface ng radiator ... unless sa other side?

Siguro you may want to invest first sa tints mo, kung ayaw mo ng colored tints, meron atang transparent ng tints pero maganda parin ang thermal insulation nya, I can't recall the brand ... search mo nalang dito sa forum ... v-cool ata or something.

Sa cooling ng engine bay, pwede mo try thermal wraps ng headers. I'm also looking at doing that ... heard Autoline at Makati offers that service ... kailangan ko lang mag-inquire how much.

I just had my fan changed (direct belt driven ito). Also, am using Caltex Coolant. Pag sa gabi, less than 1/4 ang temp gauge. During hot days, nasa 2/5 (near half ang gauge).

Baka I need to spray / clean the aircon radiator (what's it called pala? lolz). Baka may mga dumi na nakabara. Kcboy, you can probably do this, or better yet, have your engine washed and radiator cleaned externally.

Pero weird talaga, whenever my 2nd aircon is on, medyo humihina, pero pag 1 aircon lang on, kahit naka idle, malamig...

I think ang normal na thermometer reading should be a little less than half the guage ... pwedeng mag-start ng masmababa pero after a couple of minutes dapat almost midway ang needle.

Try mo nalang ipalinis yung evaporator (tama ba?) ng a/c mo. And while at it, get an engine wash narin :-)
