I think hindi pa kasi maglalagay ka rin ng coolant if you're losing water in your radiator.

April 16th, 2007 04:20 PM #52ako im loosing water in radiator pero ala naman akong nakikitang leak just replace the radiator cap.
my problem din ako sa radiator, parang my grasa/oil sa luob di siya kulay black/brown ang kulay niya ay paran off white to light brown. sabi ng mechanic eh latak lang daw iyung ng coolant. di daw siya cylinder head gasket.
anu kaya dapat kong gawin? meron ba kayong alam na trusted radiator shop for checking kung my leak?
by the way di pa pala ko naooverheat, paranoid lang kasi my iba kong nakikita???

April 17th, 2007 04:40 AM #53there should not be any "latak" from coolant imo. if it's oily then it's probably oil.

but my problem exists, im losing water on the reservoir. i dont know why?
should i flush my radiator. can you advise a good and reliable radiator shop?

April 25th, 2007 11:02 AM #58yup sir speedy meron silang torque wrench and was torqued down properly binantayan ko kasi eh. the new cylinder gasket was original i was the one who bought it in the store... wala naman warapage iyung new gasket.
di ko pa kasi pinapalinis iyung rad ko due to some oil after palitan iyung gasket. would it contribute to losing water?

April 25th, 2007 10:04 PM #59hindi naman yung gasket yung magwawarp... it's the cylinder head.
unless the shop you had the work done at sent it to a machine shop to check then there is no way you can visually inspect that.

April 29th, 2007 01:27 PM #60mine is solved na ang problem ko, yung water pump ang may leak, tumatagas paunti unti, tapos gumagapang sa kabitan ng oil filter kaya hindi mo makikitang pumapatak sa ilalim.
