as i know, replacing an OEM 1.1 spec to a 0.9 one will equate to premature opening of the radiator cap, in turn, may not good for your system. kaya better stick to whats indicated.
kung yung 1.1 mo, pinalitan mo ng 1.3 masama din kasi di agad narerelease yung pressure inside the cooling system.

Bakit nauuso na yata sa mga bagong oto ang walang radiator cap? You refill coolant on the reservoir when its cold.

bro, ano na balita dito sa nabili mong genuine radiator cap? like i said, kung di na mapapalitan you can use it but observe carefully now if you have doubt then might as well look for the 1.1 bar. yes that with more pressure, your engine's cooling system can withstand more heat. however, with more pressure, you put more wear and tear on the engine cooling components. na inquire mo na rin ba sa casa?
like nickel68 pointed out maliit na difference lang yan, depende pa kung ilang percent ang coolant mo, naka 1.1 ka nga but only with 25% coolant so daig pa yan if naka 0.9 ka but with 50-75 or even 100% coolantang importante walang leak on your cap because that would mean very useless yan at back to zero pressure build-up niya just the same with mga pampaseherong jeepneys.

It seems na yung water leak came from the 2 T-connectors connecting the vaporizer and the radiator line (i have an LPG kit installed) that greenfuel installed for my car. This T-connectors were replaced accordingly. Thank you greenfuel.
After reading this thread yesterday, sinubukan kong ibalik ang dating 1.1 na radiator cap and today it worked as it was expected. Normal lang. No overheating or loss of water whatsoever.
In using the .9 radiator cap for 1 month, wala akong makitang difference with regard to performance parang pareho lang with the 1.1
For now, i am using the old 1.1. Refilled the radiator with water and it seems puno pa ito. So no water was added.
My coolant mixture is 1liter of coolant is to 3liters of distilled water.
I hope i did not harm my car cooling system....
