the original is more expensive. the clone is cheaper by, say, 1/3 to 1/2 siguro.
but some clones are not built accurately enough.. they may not fit into the space provided. so even if you wanted to, you can't use the clone.
also, some clones won't work satisfactorily with certain designs. serpentine versus laminated comes to mind..
