February 23rd, 2013 12:07 PM #11I was the one who wanted to replace both hoses and fittings na lang since alam mo naman when they convert JDM vehicles, typical cut and weld, hanging freely yung suction hose near my turbo (also a year ago I had a hard time steering the vehicle, the pipe interfered with the steering gearbox
) , while my discharge hose ay nakaharang sa air filter ko and when I move it, may hissing sound which I suspect is freon.
I'd still have it tested for leaks first. Yun nga lang kahit 2kms away lang ako from Evangelista eh walang oras to have it checked.
Request muna ako opinions from other shops

~ 13 year old honda CRV 2.0 liter. exactly ganoon ang symptoms. It all happened one day when biglang walang lamig. busy ako so pina ayos ko sa relative ko na amatuer mechanic. pumunta sya sa local aircon repair shop owned by his friend. butas evaporator. new evaporator + freon + labor cost 6000. symptoms like the above happened after ma ayos.
so since humina ang aircon after ma replace ang evaporator I assume na either maliit/low quality made in china ang evaporator or maybe somethings wrong with the freon. magkano kaya ayusin ito, using a good quality evaporator?
