January 8th, 2024 11:23 AM #41Well, this is already what I did with my unit but OK naman yung pag backing ko since naka light tint yung rear windshield.
Will definitely follow same tint shade application once its time na to replace this tint.
Sinusulit ko lang muna yung free ng CASA since OK pa naman.
So far, yung side mirror lang talaga diko makita sa gabi if walang light sa likod when backing out.

I had the medium dark X-film tint replaced with the light dark shade. My 20yo car doesn't have LED lights and it was really difficult to see the road at night especially when it's raining on a poorly lighted road like C5. The owner of the shop told me why not just upgrade my headlights to LED. I declined and prefer to keep the halogen light which is cheaper to replace and does not cause inconvenience with the other drivers. The light dark shade was good enough for visibility at night but causes a slight during the day due to the reflection of the dashboard.
Surprisingly the light dark tint of X-Films is also very good at heat rejection. It is a lot better compared to the V-Kool OEM medium dark installed with my other cars. For the price point between 6k to 10k, I think X-Films is a good choice.
My old car's aircon tends to lose it's coolness during the day on a standstill and slow moving traffic. The new tint definitely helps reduce the heat from the windows, helping the aircon to keep just the right temperature to keep us comfortable inside the car.

Mine's at least one year already. Light dark sa front windshield and front door windows, medium dark at the rear windows.
Heat rejection is good enough I think. My 20yo sedan can still manage to keep the cabin's temperature just fine with the aircon setting at 50% cold. There are times it gets a bit warmer in the cabin at noon time but not uncomfortable.
In the morning when the sunrays are shining through the door windows, I can feel the sunlight a bit warm but not to the point your arms become sweaty. That's good given that the front door windows are tinted with the light dark shade. A medium dark shade tint might be able to do a better with the heat rejection.
Overall I think X-tint is far better than the V-Kool OEM at similar price range.

Hirap nga ma search saan gawa talaga yang x-films. Puro p-o-r-n sites ang binibigay ng google [emoji23]
Let's see how the ceramic tint will hold up after 5 years.
Pero so far ok naman workmanship sa tint installation at after sales support.
