Glass Science Rain Clear Windshield Repellant Gel doesn't last more than 2 weeks after these recent monsoon rainy days, so I'm looking for better alternatives. Any recommendations (no RainX please)?
I tried Collinite 915 in my windshield, nope it didnt work specially the part where the wipers wipe, I think the wax was stripped by the wipers. No beading, useless. )

If one uses wiper frequently, no amount of hydrophobic treatment will last long ...

Thanks for sharing this! Looks like I'll just stick with Glass Science gel for now.

I've been using Microtex Glaz (Stainz Out and Stainz Guard). Sometimes, the wipers will skip if I didn't polish it properly.

May I know where do you buy that product? I might try it and see the difference.

Ace Hardware usually has a few Glass Science gel in stock. Blade sells the Glass Science cleaner and scrub but I seldom see the rain clear gel product.

Glass Renew (for cleaning the windshield), and Rain Clear should suffice. The other product is for a quick clean/protection when on the road.

I’m pretty much satisfied with Microtex stainz guard and so far no wiper skipping. Haven’t applied/tried the stainz out coz my windshield and window glass are spotless still.
