July 25th, 2012 11:07 PM #1Hi guys! New here to the forums and I'm planning to buy a new red car. Question lang, ano mas bagay na tint ipalagay ko as my freebie? Heard about 3M FX (standard), 3M Black Chrome, 3M Crystalline, VKool Tint, Solargard, etc. Honestly I kinda prefer 3M since proven na sila. Anyway, ano suggestion niyo kunin ko if I'm going with a red car? Gusto ko lang ng tint na hindi nakikita inside but at the same time wouldn't cause me so much viewing problems during the night. Kahit hindi 100% opaque would do, probably 70-80% pwede na for the red car. Note it's a freebie so siguro off limits na yung mga sobrang mahal na types. Any suggestions? Would really appreciate it!

July 26th, 2012 04:34 AM #2if freebie po pinag uusapan, most of the time 3M FX ilalagay sayo. better check muna with the dealer muna what exact product/tint are available as freebie. Malamang sasabihin lang sayo nyan, super black, medium black, blah blah
as for brand, brand lang po yan, each brand got different products to cater to each market (wallet size)
if i dont have the time and no internet connection, usually I will stick to 3M brand sa lahat ng products sa kotse. kaso if meron ka naman time to check, well, I can take my time to check which product is more bang-for-the-buck ika nga.

1st suggestion ko sir, i trade mo na lang yung free tint sa iba pang freebie of the same value, sa labas ka na lang pa tint.
2ng suggestion, kung di pede i trade, usually 3m yang freebie, if the SA will give you a list of tint, lower number means darker. Go for black chrome, eto yung reflective, nakaka add ng privacy from outside yung reflective property nya.

Depende sa kotse eh, how about muffler cutter, ewd, and car cover.
Unlike sa mga tint shop ka na magpapalagay, may sample sila, you know what you are getting.

Agree with the proposal to skip the freebie. Add ko lang 'to:
Kung meron ka plan to get a better quality tint talaga within a few months or a year, huwag ka na palagay. This removes the risk of damaging the defogger lines sa rear kapag tatangalin mo na.

1st question, san pong dealer and anong unit ang binili nyo? samen kase pwede mong itrade in yung free tint mo then plus cash nalang para makapag Huper Optik ka..

Actually, all the casas I know of subcontracts the tint installation to third parties. I have never seen an OEM tint on cars yet dito sa Pinas.
Kaya kung gusto mo manigurado, make sure you're present when the tint is installed, better yet just get the cash from them and get it installed sa alam mong ok
