I actually considered buying this last December to replace our beater 2007 Vios J. Ang nagustuhan ko sa Vios is yung pagka basic niya. Manual lahat, no power windows and side mirrors. Super reliable and kahit san pwede pagawa. Mura lang rin parts.

That's why I really considered this. Knowing na ang tagal na niya sa China, which means dami na parts. At nabasa ko rin na top seller toh dun. So siguro reliable naman. Isa pa is yung VW badge. Ang gusto ko rin dito is mukhang luma na siya. Pati nga yung headlight switch, Euro na Euro. Nasa dashboard siya imbis na stick. So dahil bibili mo ng luma, 10+ years from now, this would still look good. Issue lang talaga for me is made in China siya. Tsaka natakot ako pano maintain to at san kukuha ng parts after ng warranty. Tapos lumabas pa yung Soluto. So medyo nawala na sa isip ko toh.

Ang ganda rin ng GTS. Ang datingan mo dun is golfer dad na naka Jaeger-LeCoultre imbis na Rolex. Yung mga nagsusuot ng sweater na may white collared shirt sa loob parang Richard Gere.

I am sure they got these old model china cars at a very discounted prices. Malaki pa rin ang kita nila when they sell one. Anyway, there is a saying -- a sucker is born every minute. Meron pa rin tanga bibili nito.

I purchased the Santana GTS 12 days ago.

Apparently the agent did not tell me that the last stock was in Cebu so they had to ship it and be delivered to my house after 6 days.

On the date of Delivery, the agent told me that he had to bring back the car to the deler because of a program error.

Later day the manager called and told me the agent had an accident which lead to this situation.

Huge scratches on the bumper.

That same day, the operations manager told me they would like to meet up with me. They apologized, and I told them Id come up with a decision after a day or two.

I told them I would like a refund. They offered me the Sanatana Sedan, which I declined. I was thinking Lavida. Since they dont have any stocks on hand of the GTS.

But after a day I was told that they can only give me 40k discount. So Im gonna have to pay 90k more.

So I called them again. To give. E the discount for the GTS and I would just accept the damaged unit. Provided that it is restored in factory state. Plus they would give me a 20k discount. Because of the hassle and the fact that I wont be recieving a brand new unit.

Another day has passed. They offered me the discount, I accepted. And promised to lend me a car yesterday since I was complaining. Of the delay.

They did not deliver the car as they promised and i have no idea when my car is coming.

If you were in my shoes. And after reading your coments What would you do?

Just walk away.
Kung ganyan kadaming hassle, it means the car is not destined for you. Let them deal with the headache of selling a damaged car.
