I don't think it is a quality issue. Dealerships make a tiny one-time profit from selling you a car. Long-term sustainability is in recurring revenue from after sales services. That's what pays for the rent, lights and people. VW's low sales volume and once a year or 15k PMS routine does not financially justify the investment to open a new dealership. That's the reason you can count with one hand the number of VW dealerships in Metro Manila.Maybe, because of the china units?
