Help naman po mga Gurus, I was planning to get VW Polo 2015 this year, tanong ko lang if how much ang maintenance cost ng VW dito satin (parts, oils) ?

For 950k price of the Polo, you can already get yourself a Mazda3 1.5L. A Ford Fiesta Ecoboost will provide more driving fun at a lesser price compared to the Polo.

I always thought that if I was to choose VW cars, i'd made sure that the company where I'm employed will pay for it and for its maintenance. But if I was the one paying, i would choose another car.

Kung 20% discount, panalo yan! Kung 10% discount, baka alanganin pa kasi halos yung ibang subcompact nasa 800-900k yung price.

Below is a review of the Polo 1.6L:

For a subcompact at less than 800k (assuming 20% discount) with a 1.6L engine (103HP/153Nm) and decent driving dynamics, I think it's a good buy. However, such output from a 1.6L engine is not that attractive as most 1.5L and 1.6L NA engines are now rated between 110hp to 125hp. Kung 10% discount, I guess a Mazda2 1.5L or Fiesta Sport 1.5L will be a better choice. Kung 50k lang discount, you're better off with a Fiesta Ecoboost.

A German car is different from a Japanese car in many ways. Kahit 3M ang Mercedes, mayroong bibili. It's different.

^^^The VW Polo released here is manufactured in India. It maybe a Euro design but it is not a German CBU model like the Golf GTi or Passat. Much like how the Ford Fiesta and Focus are designed in Europe, but manufactured and released depending on the region.

Maybe soon, VW-PH might also bring the China-made Jetta locally.
