I don't get it why would someone bring a bullet in the airport and have it pass the xray machine.
Would you know ways on how we can stay safe against this?

Most security personnel blindly follow protocol. In their minds(at least dun sa matitino) baka masabit pa sila if they don't follow protocol. But imho, planted or not, if i were airport security, i'd investigate it anyways.
One time we arrived at the airport, waiting for our ride. Some security guards noticed a plastic bag on the floor a few feet from us. When we said it wasn't ours, sabi ba naman sa amin "sir, pwede bang akuin nyo na lang yung plastic bag?" Mga tarantado, mangdadamay pa ng pasahero. The lazy sh_ts probably didn't want to go through the hassle of filing a report, etc etc...or worse, baka another racket yun. These are the people in charge of airport security, ladies and gentlement

October 28th, 2015 04:52 PM #4shell casing is metal, so whoever put it inside your bag, unless he wore gloves, would leave his print in there. thus, do not touch it. let the police from the avsegroup (aviation security group) or pcas (philippine center of aviation security) take care of it, and take a video using your smart phone during the whole process.

OTS or Office of Transportation Security is in charge of security inside the terminals. It is under DOTC secretary Jun Abaya...
The OTS, which is under the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), is the single authority responsible for the security of the transportation systems of the country, including civil aviation.
Screening inspectors in charge of security screening checkpoints inside Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals are directly accountable to the OTS rather than the Manila International Airport Authority..Last edited by Monseratto; October 28th, 2015 at 08:49 PM.

I wouldn't be surprised if they "outsourced" the planting of the bullet to a professional pickpocket.

kung modus yan ng security personnel, im sure they are aware of the finger print, malamang wipe out na yun, and/or they will use tissue to hold the bullet.
