Fellow tsikoteers I need your help on directions going to Baguio. The last time i visited Baguio was when I in elementary. that was like 20 years ago. San ba ang exit going to Baguio? HOw long is the travel time?(cruising speed of 90-100kph)

Magkano kaya ang decent hotel room?

i suggest that you get a driving buddy... palit palit kayo then avoid stopovers at much as possible para mabilis kayo makarating don. maybe 6 hrs max na pag ganon.

exit thru sta. ines, the endpoint of the nlex. the rates quoted in the thread posted by frankdrebin might (not sure) be lower now owing to the meningo scare last year.

Been to Baguio last week. Left Meycauayan 9pm arrived at 2am. Speed is 80kph ave(Yes sir I'm a slow driver :D). 1 coffee break at Sison(?) Caltex Station at took the Marcos Highway. NLT Sta. Ines Exit (end point of NLT), left turn sa dulo, right turn at Mabalacat then dire-diretso na po. Tip, better travel at night or take an early morning drive. Roads are being repaired at Urdaneta and also to avoid the horrendous traffic. Take it from me, it'll save you fuel, time and patience. :D

exit ka sa dulo na ng nlex. then head west (lalabas ka exit then sa overpass turn right) to angeles. pag dating mo sa macarthur hiway turn right heading north. diretso lang until you reach tarlac city. dun sa may intersection na Y, yung left ay punta tarlac city, yung right ewan ko di pa ko nakadaan dun ehehehe! dun ka sa left pumasok, then pag dating sa dulo (tumbok mo yung university of tarlac yata yun) turn right and cross the bridge. diretso na yun hangang luisita. now meron ka makikita pag nasa pangasinan ka na "this way to baguio" na mga signs sa right side ng road. DO NOT PASS THERE, rought road yun! baka maholdap ka pa dun. diretso ka lang. you have a choice kung saan ka dadaan, marcos hiway medyo malayo pero sementado, or kennon road maganda ang scenery pero matarik saka madami lubak. i usually go via marcos hiway, so aabot ka ng pugo, la union before starting the climb to baguio. sorry di ko na matandaan saan ang daan punta kennon, tagal ko na din hindi dumaan dun. basta alam ko sa pangasinan yun meron 3 banga na malaki dun sa crossing.

i suggest going in the early morning, like say 2am. wala pa tricycle sa daan, lalo na sa tarlac. pag naabutan ka ng tricycle nako kalimutan mo yang 90-100kph na yan kasi 30kph lang takbo mo iho. bili ka din ng map sa national bookstore, o yung map sa sm supersale sa may check out counter. basta meron tagabasa ng map sa tabi mo (navigator!) at hindi ikaw ang magbasa at baka mabangga ka pa.

last year hotel namin was P2000/night, naka-promo na yun kasi june na umuulan na kasi. forgot the name pero nasa leonard wood road siya. masaya maligaw sa baguio kasi dun mo mararanasan yung "galing na tayo dito ah, umikot lang pala tayo! saan na ba yung map ulit!"
