Photos from tsikoteers during holy week...
Take a good look at these photos of Makati CBD on Good Friday
Earlier today, we shared a couple of photos showing how congested EDSA was yesterday, Maundy Thursday. The kilometric traffic jam was caused by the scheduled reblocking works that DPWH is currently doing along the highway. By contrast, Makati City's central business district was virtually a ghost town today, Good Friday.
Reader Frank Schuengel sent us these images, saying: "I just want to share these pics of Makati today. It felt like I had walked into 28 Days Later."
Well, better take your time staring at these pictures. We're 100% sure you won't stumble upon Makati like this again. In fact, beginning tomorrow, when the malls open again for business, you can expect motor-vehicle traffic to build up once more in the area.
Don't you just wish Ayala looked like this every single day of the year?

For those who are driving back to Manila, this is what southbound NLEX (Bocaue) looked like at 5:30 pm yesterday.

Arrived Manila just now. Wala pa trapik sa NLEX. Perhaps later in the day ang build-up.
