Going to baler

If using a sedan (altis 07) is it worth it? Masyado bang nakakapagod ang route? Too much terrain a stock car can handle? Im really after stopping by some scenic spots and taking pics, not to mention flexibility and overall, bonding lang. Feedback naman sa mga naka gawa na neto. Total passengers 4.

Kayang kaya yan. My bro in law goes there using a 09 city with 3 adults, 2 kids plus loads of supplies. No problem.

I drove there using a vios 2009 and 2014, generally no problem except sumasayad yung ilalim sa humps sa pantabangan dam. Madami din cars na dumadaan dun.

di ko alam kung andon pa yung mga uncemented part ng roads. may part na malalim yung wheel part ng road at naka umbok yung gitna, just be careful sa ganun, igilid mo na lang ng konti yung kotse. at sa pantabangan dam nga, you really have to ease out yung pagbaba ng tires from the hump lalo na pag puno. also we had a problem back then sa ATM, only one ATM sa baler, the next we found was back at catanduanes.

Usually mudguards ang sumasabit pero depende yun sa kung papano idrive.

Nung papuntabako, sumayad ilalim ko ng 13x. 5 kami sa kotse. Nung pauwi, 5 pa din pero dahan dahan sa humps at patagilid ang akyat ko sa humps, mga 2x na lang ang sayad.

Yup 1.3 pareho.

No problem yan bro, we've done it with an altis din ng bro in-law ko, bale 5 adult passengers, kayang kaya. But be sure to be more observant if you're not familiar pa, me mga places na pwedeng sumayad sa mga humps. Nasa driving skills mo na lang how to avoid it. But if you're planning to go to "Mother Falls", be sure to leave it sa designated place sa ibaba at mag trike na lang kau pataas. You'll love Baler when you visit it, I miss it na nga eh, sana makabalik.

Just went to Baler last month with 5 on board my Altis. No problem naman. Not a fun drive though kasi hindi smooth yung daan sa pantabangan. Sementado naman pero hindi ka makakahataw like sa Tanay or sa Sorosogon kasi hindi maganda yung pagkakasmoothen out ng daan. Tapos may lupa pa sa shoulder so pag nagoversteer ka walang allowance to correct.

Hindi lang talaga sulit ang Costa Pacifica. Nice resort, but not worth the price. It costs 3-4x the price of all the other resorts in the area. Eh hello hindi naman siya Shangri-La Bora level.

If you wanna go surfing just go to La Union, shorter travel time tapos puro highway pa.
