If you were in my place, would you meet your new VP from headquarters in Europe on a HOLIDAY to tour him around Manila?
Our new VP is arriving Oct 31 e holiday yun e! I'm thinking if I should volunteer to tour him around pero honestly tinatamad ako. If it were my boss baka ako pa sumundo sa airport hahaha
But I'm thinking I need this for my.career hahaha just kidding. Pero if it were me kasi I'd appreciate it if my people would have done that for me. It's his first time in the Philippines kasi.

Any suggestions where I can take him on Nov 1 and 5, 6?
I don't really know if it will. I just want to make a good impression on our VP. I'm actually not happy because I like our former VP better (who endorsed my recent promotion)
Also, medyo naawa ako. It's his first time in the Philippines kasi.
Any suggestions where I can take him on Nov 1 and 5, 6?

Yes. He is the boss of my boss and he is based at our HQ in Europe. Newly promoted (effective November 1).
I'm not the reason why he is going here since I'm the only person under him that is based in Manila (was supposed to be transferred to HQ in 2016). He is working with another department pero ako lang kasi kakilala niya sa Manila hahaha

It's our new VP's first time to visit the Philippines. I am planning to take him around on November 1, 4 and 5. Any suggestions on where to take him?
I hate driving so preferably Makati or BGC. I'm thinking of taking him to Tagaytay on a Sunday but isn't it traffic?
Also, what else to do after office? Maybe drinks? Hassle lang because I am alone on thisI'm his only staff based here in Manila (he is here to work with another department)
He wants to see old churches daw.Last edited by _Cathy_; October 19th, 2017 at 05:01 PM.

Should be just day tour:
1. Tagaytay
2. Pagsanjan shooting the rapids
3. Villa Escudero or Hidden Valley
4. Intramuros
5. Corregidor Tour
Old churches in Cavite or in Pampanga.....or in MM Bamboo Organ LPC, Manila Cathedral, San Agustin, San Sebastian.... marami....

I was thinking Makati, BGC, Tagaytay, or your not so favorite mall, SM MoA.😆
But sometimes, foreigners want more of a cultural tour. Fort Santiago, Rizal Park. Maybe you could ask your VP what this new guy likes.
Hope somebody could come up with better suggestions.
