December 13th, 2010 03:26 AM #13mga sir, ung sa akin din, 96 na corolla gli, matic. ang problem naman is, pag cold start...ang tagaaaaaaaaal kumagat ng gear. tapos napapansin ko, pag di naka overdrive, kelangan aabot muna ng 80kph bago sya mag shift sa last gear nya (which is i think 4 lang 4-speed lang ata ang mga luma).
palit atf lang po ba ito?

January 9th, 2011 01:36 PM #15Share ko lang experience ko sa crv ko (2001 matic). Sa simula ng driving ok naman shifting nya. Pero after a while kapag slow driving (around 40 kph) bigla na lang tataas ang rev niya. Parang nag-kick down pero parang di naman nag-engage yung gear dahil mabagal naman acceleration. Ni-release ko gas pedal para bumaba ang rev then press again pero ganun pa din. Kailangan i-press ng todo acclerator para makuha yung gear. Umaabot sa 5000 rpm bago makuha yung gear. First time ko na-experience ito after a long drive from Baguio to Bulacan. Sa Bocaue ko na naramdam yung sumpong. Nawala rin after a while. Ngayon, pasumpong sumpong na lang. Napansin ko, nangyayari lang kapag matagal na stop and go traffic at saka kapag medyo mahaba na ang driving. Parusa nga nung paakyat na ng Baguio. Taas palagi ng rev.
Ngayon ok pa naman. Kakapalit lang ng atf nung 3rd week ng december. Ok naman yung kulay ng atf the last time i checked at di naman amoy sunog. Pina-test drive ko sa mechanic pero di naman sumumpong.
Any ideas?

Wala problem transmission mo sir, kayo po may problem. Lol. Seriously, thats why dapat naka on parati and OD or overdrive kasi meron pa extra gear (4th). If OD off, usually 3 gears lang yan and the shifting is longer. When OD is off, mas malakas consume ng gas. OD off is usually used in climbing to minimize gear hunting, or faster acceleration by having mid to high RPM power, and other reasons.
Most new cars now, dont use that, especially mga manumatic.

January 17th, 2011 03:36 PM #18serbo problema nyan..nacheck u nba oil seal u baka butas na...o kaya ung case ng tranny u baka may singaw na...overhaul yan..pag ngkataon palit transmission ka...xe baka ung case ng tranny u ay puro low pressure hindi sya nghihigh pressure kaya matagal mgshift...masisisra makina mo nyan pati ung sa radiator mo madadamay magcacause ng overheat at makita mo delikado..kaya check it out sa mga automatic transmission expert...
