Looks like your HEGO(heated exhaust gas oxygen sensor). If it is, it will have two white wires and two black wires

That 'tank' is the catalytic converter. That round thing with the wires going to it at the top is (as Jick mentioned), an O2 sensor.
It's normal to hear hissing sounds coming from the catalytic converter, especially when the engine has been running for at least several minutes.
As for your transmission, about the only thing you can do for now is to check the ATF fluid level and condition (ie. color and odor). Beyond that, the problem can either be mechanical or electrical (ie. worn clutch packs, bad ATF pump, clogged ATF passageways, bad solenoids, problem with the ECM/PCM, or loose wiring).

Thanks for the input guys, pina tow na. it's a company car. The thing is pinagawa na to dahil sa blinking D. And the company said it cost them 30kh to "fix" the blinking D. 2 weeks pa lang na balik blinking D ulit at di na nage engage yung transmission. Dinala na naman sa Honda. I bet 30k na naman yan fixing nothing. Hay

July 27th, 2014 10:39 AM #8Yung sakin namamatay engine habang tumatakbo (2007 AT City). After linisin yung ignition coils tsaka palitan ATF (worth P5K) umayos ng 2 days pero bumalik ulit. Nung pinalitan ng AT shift sensor (worth P21K) nag ok na, parang brand new na ulit andar nya.
