September 22nd, 2011 03:03 PM #1Fellow forumers pa help naman
I've been driving an Altis 2006 Automatic 1.6
Coming from a cold start , I can start the engine easily and do the reverse without delay.
When I shift the gear to "D" Drive, it won't respond agad, I need to gas up up to >10 seconds (making a whining sound)
Then I can move forward.
After this ok naman po ang ride.
Pa recommend naman kung ano dapat
Thanks

Have you checked if the automatic transmission fluid level is correct or low?
Also, how you normally park at home? On level ground or on a inclined ramp or street?

September 23rd, 2011 09:31 AM #6dapat walang delay.. how about the ATF fluid?? tama ba specs nung fluid na nilagay mo?? kasi during cold start medyo malapot pa yung fluid.. baka may dumi or bara sa mga oil galleries nung transmission.. baka need mo din papalitan yung ATF filter kung meron man

dalin mu sa automatic transmission specialist.. i know someone if your interested... this is a flow of what to check,
1.ATF ("correct specification" and amount) too much and too little is bad
2.Electrical system of the vehicle especially the transmission (wiring, baka me loose connection or kulang sa ground etc.)
3.mechanical portion ( shift lever baka stuck up/ cable going to tranny baka naiipit or meh nakaharang)
after nyan at nandyan pa din problem, do a fault code scan ( code scanner OBD/ on board diagnostic)
from that malalaman mo na kung anu error,, pag wala makita sa OBD( there are times na meh problem but not detected)
4. transmission body check ( titignan na yung internals ng transmission mo including yung solenoid which controls the amount of ATF fluid to maintain hydraulic pressure. medyo madugo na ito at mahal
just a note ilang kms na ang altis?
and how hard is the altis being driven?
nabaha ba unit?
ilang beses ka na nag ATF change since nakuha mo unit?
ATF change should be performed at 40,000kms
