April 8th, 2019 06:34 PM #11cathey bihira naman yung kagaya mo baka 1 in 100,000 ka sa mga babae naghuhugaas ng kotse.
The rest of the girl more of bahala na si gasboy magkarga ng hangin basta abutan lang ng 5pesos. Or iwan lang sa casa pa oilchange wala ng suri-suri kung talaga ba napalitan. - Ito pa yung matitino. Hindi pa kasali jan yung walang pakialam na drive lang ginawa and did not bother to research like sa example mo.
Ang babae ayaw madumihan kamay lalo na grasa. Wala pa nga ako nakita babae mismo naghangin ng gulong eh. Lahat puro utos kay gasboy.
And also ang babae pag nagmamaneho ang dami kasi ginagawa kaya naleleche. Nagmumultitask eh.

Kung observant ka lang, may mga instances of lady drivers doing makeup and talking on the phone while their car is crawling in traffic. Multiple counts of distracted driving if you ask me.
My sister-in-law had no idea she was running flat one of the tires of the Jetta. Buti kamo di nasira yung rims. Our family driver had to remind her also when the car is due for maintenance.

April 8th, 2019 06:53 PM #13Problema sa mga babae is inaabuso nila ang pagka babae nila. Alam nila na kahit i cut ka nila, wala ka magagawa kasi babae sila. Entitled sila. Alam na pag mahuli MMDA, konting charm eh slap on the wrist lang ang magagawa sa kanila. Yung ibang babae naman, sobrang praning. Like my mom, kaya kahit ilan driving lesson di matuto tuto kasi lahat ng worse case scenario inisip na. 3 na kilala ko na nabangketa lang di na tinuloy ang pag da drive. Ayun, sayang pera, 15k kada buwan sahod sa driver.

April 8th, 2019 08:14 PM #14men are good at some things. women some things.
when it comes to concentrating on 1 task, men are better. spatial awareness, men are better. so don't be surprised if men are better at driving
multitasking, women are better

April 9th, 2019 10:37 AM #16Removing the variable of multitasking, since we are all guilty of this at some point during a drive.
I think if you equate men to being the "aggressive side" when their switch flips (being cut, trying to get from A to B faster, etc), my take on our counterparts is they tend to be more "nonchalant" if that makes any sense.
Basically not as concerned sometimes when doing a maneuver, which could lead to an accident as well (similar to how men driving aggressively can also lead to accidents).
As for not being as observant if the cars needs maintenance or is behaving differently, I wouldn't really equate that to gender but more on different priorities of the person.
My dad is the type that just gets in and drives the car out. And he wouldn't really tell us anything unless something is almost horribly wrong or has already broken and the car won't run anymore. Haha! So it's up to us to pick up the slack in checking previous PMS mileage & schedule and time it accordingly and just let him know to bring the "other" car while we have his main car serviced.
On that note, I had to actually remind them to replace the tires as when I drove his "coding" car, I noticed the tires easily "spun" from a standstill even if you weren't stepping hard on the accelerator. Checked the dates on the tires and found out the car was still running on 3 pieces of 9 year old rubber and 1 piece of 15 year old rubber. The treads still looked good and weren't worn out, no visible sign of cracking at all. But they didn't have much flex left in them.
So it was an amusing experience to have it changed in the shop I trusted. The guys there were surprised to see the dates on those shoes. Hehe!
