Would be nice to have something like this... or better yet, a countdown down for all the lights (red, yellow and green) so you know how much time before it changes. I have seen this in other countries. I think it would be a big benefit for motorists here if implemented properly in major intersections.

Not exactly like that, much better actuall, with big numbers (20 sec. yata) counting down. Same sa pedestrians.

bitting the red light.

Not only in China... Places like Thailand and Taiwan have them. And these stoplights actually make sense to motorists.
Even THE FORT has them but the numbers are meant for the pedestrians to countdown the last seconds of their lives before angry motorists run them over if they don't successfully cross the road in the time given to them.

December 8th, 2009 10:35 PM #10Hehehhe! =)) i sure hope that the rest of the country or at least the metro follow the taguig traffic light system... pati pedestrians merong stop and go lights and dun yung timers.. mas maganda talaga ganyan.. saka dapat meron traffic control na third party or hindi dapat nacocontrol ng onsite traffic enforcers para iwas kotong..
