August 6th, 2024 12:53 AM #171una,
but if you feel you are being short-changed, complain to the law, sir. the law is with you.
pangalawa,
ano ba ang patakaran nang subdivision, regarding car parking? look it up, sir, kung meron ngang nakasulat. or are everyone just making it up as they go along...?
kung may nakasulat naman pala, ay yun na yon.
you mentioned an "assignment" for designated parking. if you feel your rights are being trampled upon, complain to the subdivision administration. let them shoe away the offending car. it's their job to enforce subdivision policy.
last,
with all due respect, i can not imagine your descriptions.
might you provide diagrams?Last edited by dr. d; August 6th, 2024 at 01:10 AM.

If I were you, I would check the title, master deed and restrictions and house rules of the subdivision regarding your parking slot. Then consult your homeowners' association to resolve things with your neighbor in an amicable manner. Escalating the situation is not the solution.

Firstly you're residing in a subdivision, I'm assuming meron ka car port, bakit hinde mo ba lang ipasok yun saskayan mo sa paradahan mo?
Secondly, hinde pwedeng dahil mas matagal ka na ikaw ang meron rights sa street parking eh paano yun mga ngayon lang nakalipat diyan, so wala.na sila karapatan sa harap ng bahay nila mag park?
But consult your association but I would give the priority doon sa owner ng bahay yun space sa harap niya for them to park their vehicle.

Generally, yung tapat ng bahay is public domain na (or in this case, privately owned by the subdivision).... first come, first served.
Exceptions kung yung subdivision na mismo nag-allocate ng street parking slots for their residents or may by-law na yung tapat ng property is for the property owners' parking.
So as recommended by others, check with your subdivision/HOA kung ano policy or guidance on street parking within the community.

Mag-usap kayo with the homeowners association rep to clear it out. May sasakyan din siya and they need parking space too. Of course gusto niya sa harap ng bahay niya.
Hindi maganda na may kaaway na kapitbahay. Kasi kapag may emergency sila yung malapit na pwedeng tumulong. Just sort it out peacefully.
