At least kapag tricycle, mahangin.

for me trikes and pedicabs unsafe talaga, maliit ang chance mabuhay ang sakay.
As long as trikes/pedicabs stay where they should be, they're actually safer than buses who weave in-and-out of traffic in devilish speeds. But when the tricycles hit the national highway for example, that's the only time it gets dangerous.

Lets say they are where they should be, kaso sila naman ang binangga delikado pa din diba? walang safety measures ang trike and pedicab.

No look pa yun biglang cut na lang.

tricycles are an expensive waste. When I was in high school, whatever the weather, I would rather walk 1 km home from the jeepney stop than take an expensive trike. When I was in college, I walked 2km rather than take the trike... and if it wasn't raining, 4 kms instead of taking the jeep.

When we first got married and I had to commute 50 kms back and forth to work, on the days I didn't drive, I walked two kilometers down to EDSA to get a bus and one kilometer back uphill (Main Ave., Cubao) at night. Sometimes I took a trike for that uphill portuon when I was too tired or it was too late, but I always felt it an unnecessary luxury.

Proper jeep routes eliminate the need for tricycles. Sucks if you live in an area without one... Tatagain ka ng 50 bucks ng mga trike drivers for a trip that would cost you only a bit more on an airconditioned taxi!

And people really walk! Those underground A/C connections are also quite helpful in the city center.

I also choose to walk 2-3kms instead of taking the trikes and jeeps back in college. Same goes when i'm at Makati CBD where i will usually just leave my car at the office parking then walk.
