November 6th, 2010 09:18 PM #11This is what I would have preferred:
Instead of fogs, the DRL can take its place. Unfortunately with the Nav, I can't achieve that look coz the fog wells is too small and round.
Saw 2 on sulit, one is P2.7k and the other is P5k.

December 16th, 2010 03:51 AM #18For year 2012, requirement sa Europa na ALL cars dun ay kelangan may Daytime Run Lights. (based on EU Mandate and directive)
So yeah, expect that more and more cars will have DRL na kasama sa kotse as standard equipment. Not only sa Pinas pero WORLDWIDE

In Canada, where we get daylight from 4am (sunrise) to 11pm (sunset) during the summer, mandatory pa rin ang RDL. Kaya hindi lang siya para sa makukulimlim na lugar (although during the winter, sun rises at 9am and sets at 4pm).
The light comes on as soon as you start the car and step on the brake/release the hand brake. No flicking of switches. IIRRC, DRL actually is something like 70% to 80% bright/high beam. It greately aids in making you more visible to other motorists and pedestrians alike.
