July 23rd, 2009 06:09 PM #11Don't know about Muntinlupa.
Alabang is part of Muntinlupa, not Las Pinas.

Adding more to the list (in red and blue), based on: http://www.trapik.com/road_rules.asp
CODING-FREE
1. Paranaque
2. Taguig
3. Pasig
4. Marikina
5. Antipolo (this is Rizal, so I don't know if it's MMDA jurisdiction)
NO WINDOW CITIES & MUNICIPALITIES
1. Makati
2. Las Pinas
3. Pasay
4. Malabon
5. San Juan
* If Las Pinas is in this list, I then wonder about Alabang-Muntinlupa. Doesn't make sense if you could drive thru the Alabang-Zapote road only to stop at the boundary of Las Pinas to avoid getting caught. Unless Alabang-Zapote rd. has a window just like EDSA. Meaning you can take the thoroughfare but as soon as you turn into the neighboring city's streets, puede ka nang hulihin.
WITH WINDOWS(?) - pls correct if needed:
1. Manila
2. Quezon City
3. Entire stretch of EDSA

July 24th, 2009 03:12 PM #17Yes, seems like Muntinlupa *unofficially* doesn't have coding. I came from city hall one time and asked some of the staff. The vague answer was "may coding ho dito pero wala namang sumisita," so I used my car on its coding day and went to SM Southmall. Yari ako sa LP enforcer. Haha.
