Oily intake pressure gas will rush out in the intake manifold .. it'll pollute/damage/misread the maf sensor. Imagine the turbo compressor spinning more than 10000rpm then this overboost have no where to exit it'll flow back to the turbo compressor damaging the shafting of the turbo.

question quys: anyone else experienced an issue with their HU where the preset stations and other settings are lost? I have a 2014 fort with the stock touch screen HU and it happens quite a few times, but i'm not sure what's causing it as the battery is never disconnected. oddly, the bluetooth pairings are still there but everything else - station presets, EQ settings, etc. get set back to default

some radios have a permanent live power cord for the preset memory..
others have a built-in battery that powers the memory, 'ala computer. when this battery perishes, presets may be lost.
or maybe the power cord was disconnected by mistake.Last edited by dr. d; April 23rd, 2015 at 12:37 AM.
