Toyota, Mazda halt JDM shipment due to falsified data | Autoindustriya

Toyota has already stopped shipments and sales of three particular car models made in Japan for the local market – the Corolla Fielder, the Corolla Axio, and the TNGA-based Yaris Cross. Toyota said that it had provided inadequate data in pedestrian & occupant protection tests for the aforementioned vehicles. There were also errors in crash tests and other test methods for discontinued versions of four other models, including one sold by Lexus.

Wild news. I made another thread in the Car Comparison thread since the scandal affects more than Toyota.

Honda mentioned "two dozen models"! Wouldn't that be nearly every car in their lineup?

who decides if his car is ready?
may bayad ba, or babayaran ka?

is this for all makes and brands?

in our village i see lots of vehicles sitting idly by the roadside. i'm not sure if they're totally inoperable or they're just outside because the homeowners have got too much wheels for their own good. the rides left outside come in all shapes and sizes. surprisingly, a lot are american made builds like dakotas, f150s, e150s , silverados, etc.

the ones that catch my eye are several honda crv gen 1s w/c are actually pretty enticing to take on as projects .

My hunch is that these are cars waiting for parts that the owner probably didn't bother looking for / waiting for anymore. They don't want to get rid of it either because "lugi naman kung ibebenta tapos sayang din kung itatapon lang". I have a relative who has a handful of cars in a vacant lot and the quote preceding this sentence are the exact words he told me.
