Bumaba ba ung fuel economy ng altis mo all throughout the years of usage?
Is your car 1.6 Manual transmission?
Every 10k kms ba ang engine oil change mo or 5k kms?
Ano ung mga problems na na experience mo sa altis mo all throughout the 100k kms?
Pasensya na sa mga tanong tol. 1.8g ung altis ko automatic.
Hanapin ko muna ung user manual ko para matulongan kita.

not actually.
its at 94.5k km pa lang, nope, i dont have the sludge issue yet as seen on the picture taken few weeks ago.
siguro? but not that significant.
yes. 1.6E
every 5k km since when we bought it 6yrs ago.
its kinda, the normal wear and tear for an average car.
except for
the gas tank fill tube gets rusted hanggang sa mabulok, have it repalced sa casa.
my transmission broke off a fist size chunk with the support, have it weld and used some fabricating talent.
my shocks (front and rear) are now busted. di ko pa napapalitan, sabay ko na sa 100k km pms.

May 11th, 2010 02:40 PM #7Salamat sa reply tol, last question:
ano ang fuel consumption ng 1.6e mo sa pure city driving? How many kilometers do you drive per trip before you park your car(galing sa bahay papunta sa destination like school or work)?
Pasensya na talaga tol, ikaw lang alam ko na taong may altis with 90+k kms na natakbo. I need answers badly.

^^ from my last computation, i got about 9.8km/l which is normal for my city driving since i have already fixed my oil leak.
for my everyday trip (bahay to school atleast twice a day, school to bahay atleast twice a day, hinahatid ko kase gf ko sa may school namen, doon lang siya nakatira and its a everyday routine) atleast an average of 40 km a day kasama na kung nakailang beses pa ko nagpabalik balik sa school. i live 8km apart from my school.
ilan na ba kms mo sa odo?

May 12th, 2010 04:52 PM #10My 2005 Altis 1.6E AT is nearing 70,000kms already. So far no major problems yet. Though I hear a couple of bushing noise underneath.
My fuel mileage still hits:
---------------------------
City (Normal mode) ---- 8kms / liter
City (Tipid mode) ---- 10kms / liter (As in baby the gas pedal and let the car accelerate on its own slowly)
Long drive ---- I'm still not able to log this.
