around 3000 to 5000 rpm... beyond 5000 rpm, the motor just makes a lot of noise but hardly any power if i remember right hehe

The Corona's ride is very smooth, if I recall correctly. Maganda rin yung handling coz it shares some Celica parts.
Tama si mbt, the heart of the locally produced corona is the 3SFE, 2.0L Narrow angle Twin Cam. The exact same engine as in the SXA10 RAV4 (Gen1 Local). But......... The RAV4's engine produces more power (read it somewhere). Manages 5-6km/L under my heavy right foot.
My younger sis sold off her 94 corona a long long time ago coz of a rough idling problem that even toyota cant fix. goddam EFI!
