We just got a 2nd hand 2003 model altis. Automatic tranny for 430k. At first we were looking at a lovelife model but considering its age nag altis na kami. Kinda pricey but safe naman kami coz its a relative's car which was bought brand new.
What do we need to look out for? Any tips in replacement parts?
Hope we made the right decision.

Maybe worn shocks, but it's still too early. Not much that goes wrong with the Altis. My cousin's 2001 still has no problems.
Nice, safe (boriiiing... hehehe) car... and matipid pa, even though it's AT.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Niky: Thanks for replying. Haha. boring indeed (I don't like the sound of the engine, I dont like the driving dynamics, and I dont like its stance--too high for a car). A little tweaking and set-up will do the trick but don't want to spend for something not mine..hehe.
We bought it because of its easy and cheap maintenance. My brothers who currently have no knowledge of cars will be using it. If there's an available driver, my mom and sister will also use it during weekends. Its perfect for them.

check nyo po if single pa ang cutee na dati may ari ... ay, mali! joke lang po kasi yung ZZ ko pre-loved din.
have not replaced anything on my unit yet, basta sundin lang po PM schedule and occasional treats at the best car care shop somewhere in Ortigas :-)
tama si sir niky, matipid naman sa gas. reliable car.Last edited by nemo's friend; April 16th, 2007 at 07:14 PM.

Nemo's: You mean BB? Yup we'll have it scheduled for a polishing session soon. My dad also observed that its more relaxing to drive than the civic...dont know why..hehe.
I'll start my brother's driving session this saturday. Around the village muna. At leats AT ang car..easier to teach.

Lowering na kaagad yan. Hehe lahat yata ang major comment is mataas.
