March 12th, 2015 04:26 PM #1Is it advisable to use toyota replacement parts? Im planning to buy water pump for my corolla 97 but its so expensive costs around 5k compare to just 900+ replacements parts in toyorama. Anyone uses replacement parts here? Madali ba masira or ok naman?

Yung GMB brand reliable naman basta don't use pure distilled water, gamit ka din coolant kahit 40% or 50% lang and the rest is water. Use long-life coolant concentrate as well and make sure na ma-flush cooling system mo.

a "toyota" brand was manufactured either by toyota, or sub-contracted to another manufacturer and packaged as toyota's. this assures the real and perceived benefits befitting the name.
toyota also "encourages" independent manufacturers to manufacture their own brands for toyota's replacement parts brands. these brands are in no way warrantied by toyota. they are usually cheaper than toyota brands. quality also varies. but word of mouth usually knows which to avoid, and which are ok..Last edited by dr. d; March 12th, 2015 at 06:16 PM.
