We already inquired with the guards office and so far, no one has surrendered the key. What is the best thing to do in this situation. I have inquired with Toyota and according to them they cannot change the code of the alarm since this is unique to every toyota vehicle. Thanks.
    We're on the same boat.

It's been more than a year since I lost the duplicate keys to our Mitsubishi Fuzion.

Everytime I remember that the other key is possibly with someone else's possession, I get uncomfortable.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Will try to go to my dealer after the holidays to see what can be done based on your recommendations/suggestions. Happy New Year everyone.

I suggest you apply for a comprehensive car insurance if wala pa. para incase ma-carnap may yan you're still in good hands. for security purposes din , do not leave any valuables in your car just incase alam ng nakakuha ng susi mo yung car mo which is a very remote possibility.

    Thanks for the suggestion Sir.

Fortunately, we have one. The baseball bat-type.

    Advance Happy New Year!

As long as you don't have any identifying info on your key then you're relatively fine (some people have a habit of placing the plate numbers of their cars on their keys or they don't bother to remove the service tags).

Just use a steering lock on your car as precaution when you park at public places, especially if your frequent that particular mall. That Toyota key is quite a dime a dozen so the person who picked it up (if he has any intent to steal the car in the first place) may not even know what kind of Toyota it belongs to.

    Hi There!

I hope someone can help me.
I had to borrow my cousin's old car (manual, walang alarm, very basic) because of coding and sa sobrang pagmamadali ko I lost
the car key. And he told me since he bought it 2nd hand wala daw duplicate. Gosh! am in so much trouble..

Try to recall when was the last time you held the key baka naman ma trace pa kung san mo naiwan/nahulog ....

Its pretty crazy if wala na talaga susi wondering how the car can be used again

trying to recall all the places

When I parked the car sa garage, grabbed my bag and left agad hindi na ako pumasok sa house.

Pag dating ko sa Eastwood, I remember na nakita ko pa sya sa loob ng bag ko. (Nag CR lang ako cuz I just have to meet a friend)

I left Eastwood with a friend, while on our way to Ortigas my cousin called asking where's his car key. That's the time I looked for it
in my bag to check wala na sa bag

my cousin is freaking out and keeps on telling me "don't use your previous pregnancies/anesthesia as your excuse!"
