On the plus side, it’s not a scaled down Vios. It’s coming up with it’s own identity. I’d be interested in this, simply because it’s the car to beat in the WRC.

An AWD Yaris with a turbo engine would be much fun!
If they do bring the Yaris TRD here, I hope they won’t put an anaemic 1.5L NA engine on it.

No price? One enticing thing about this is the AWD, which I think is the first in it’s class (if I am not mistaken). This makes for an interesting project car. Improve the suspension, upgrade the ECU, add a turbo & intercooler if possible. The Toyota works team in the WRC is currently so dominant because the Yaris is so easy to handle. Add the TRD kit if that’s your sort of thing. But this car will definitely be interesting to play with.
