may nakapag-try na ba sa inyo?
Nag upgrade kasi kami ng head unit ng City...
So ngayon, spare yung stock double-din head unit namin.
Since single-din lang (hindi touch screen) yung head unit ng Vios J namin, pwede ba gamitin yung head unit ng City sa Vios?
Additional Details:
City E - 2018
Vios J - 2014

January 3rd, 2019 02:26 PM #5Dapat Pwede yan. i suggest you bring the Honda city head unit manual when you ask them to install it. usually there is a schematics of the wiring of the Honda HU in the manual.
The probable reason they are saying no is because they are thinking you want a plug and play device. They need to splice the wires from the stock connectors. more work for them.
Don't take my word for it since i havn't seen the back of the current HU of the Honda city.
I am basing this on universal knowledge.

May splash screen ba na honda logo ang headunit ng city?
Ok lang ba na toyota ang kotse mo tapos pag dating sa headunit, nakalagay honda?

Most shops will decline because that task is labor intensive. Even if you can find a wiring diagram they still have to trace it one by one.
If ever you can find a shop that is willing, im sure they will charge a lot.

Most cars (most) have standard wiring. Different connectors yes, but the wiring function is still the same. If TS is inclined in doing some hack job, then he could experiment.
