Underpinned by the new second-generation TNGA platform, the all-new Prius gets a lower center of gravity and provision for larger-diameter tires.the all-new Prius is being offered with the brand's two types of hybrid systems which boast a significant improvement in both performance and efficiency. The plug-in hybrid consists of the 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine that puts out 223 PS, with an EV driving range about 50% higher than the previous model thanks to the new lithium-ion batteries.
The other hybrid system is a series-parallel type, with either a 1.8-liter or 2.0-liter engine paired to the electric motor.
