any further detail about the issue?
like is it due to a faulty part hence replacement is needed?
or is it because of bad design and the replacement one has better design to address the issue?

Done replacing the transmission of my 4x2 V at Toyota Bicutan. Initial solution was to replace the Torque Converter but later on replaced the whole tranny. Road tests were done and so far wala na yung jerking/shift shock. As per Customer Relations nila, they had a meeting na with TMP regarding this issue and well addressed na ng TMP ang problem. They just want to identify if may batch ba na affected nito so they can do necessary actions para maayos na itong problem. Hoping na lahat ng may ganitong problem e maayos na. Ito took mga 3 weeks din para dumating ang part and 1-2 days para palitan ang transmission including road test. So most likely 3 weeks to a month para sa entire process.

My petrol unit was delivered june 1 odo reading now is 236kms. after going up & down tagaytay. No jerking I cant even tell when gear is chaging whether in eco or power mode. Must be my driving cos I can sense that it guzzles lots of gas.

Hello po new member po.i got an issue with the hilux po.top of the line 2.8 4x4 my tita has the same issue 4x2 model.sa tita ko in a week the tmp decided to replafe the tranny that is sa north edsa.mine is at fairview.prang gisto pa nila limusot ssying pgstock tores daw di nman gnun noticeable.pg yung magwheels ko mas malakas daa.so i said still may problem diba.why not try to do do something.tpos theres a poibt ba i even ask the manager na are you telling me normal tong car nmen and you want us na pgtyagaan nyo yung smen.i ask him directly if hes the owner will he drive it for the rest of the cars lifespan like that.he cannot even answer yes or no.to tell you honestly we went to cebu last week may case din sila dun.hrap lng you paid for a new car all they will fo is fix and first record mo sa casa may tranny problem na.what if i wanna sell it sa dulo.yung sa tita ko she ask that question and its voice recorded.they answered daw maam peede nman nten idelete yung case nyo sa records nyo.naisip ko lng.so if you wanna buy a certified used car.kaya pala nila doctorin ang records. Yun lng po.salamat

Sken po boss and sa tita ko.until now nsa casa pa rin po yung sken.14days na.parang gusto pa nila lumusot sinisisi pa magwheels ko kung stock daw di nman gnun kalakas jerk.sabi ko.malakas or indi may problem why not fix it.parang dating sa knila notmal daw sa matic ang may conting jerk.well sa dami nmen matic na kotse now lng ako nkrinig galing sa manager yung normal.may shoft shock problem po ang hilux and fortuner now.in my case its1-2.sa tita ko 2-3.it jerks sa middle.it you can feel it.sabi ko if ayaw nila tulungan customers nila all i can do is warn the other potential buyers kasi buying a new car is not a joke.u want a new one to avoid headache tpos youll end up di mo mgamit kotse mo kasi nasa casa and they wont replace it ofcourse all they will do is fix it.for a new car owner.di nman ata tama.lalo na tranny problem.yun lng po. 09064673167

Sir are you saying na sa north edsa papalitan yung tranny pero sa fairview repair lang?

Hi Sir DJ226. I have same jerky feeling on my hilux 4x4 2.8 a/t. Parang sa 1-2 gear ang jerk nangyari. Sad to say until now toyota cebu has no action on my unit. Ang feeling ko na ipinalalabas nila na normal lang magjerk ang sasakyan. [emoji30]
